From Stockton, California but now residing in Salt Lake City, Utah, Chrystal Dawn is a professional traditional artist whose work explores the connection between ourselves and the natural world. Inspired by folklore and an early fascination with the natural world, Chrystal’s work reflects a deep reverence for wildlife and the magic of nature. Blending realism with whimsical and enchanted elements, her pieces often feature animals in nontraditional settings, evoking a sense of wonder and storytelling using self taught methods in oil, acrylic, gouache and ink.

Chrystal's work invites viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of life and the hidden, familiar magic within everyday moments. Through her art, Chrystal seeks to capture the quiet mystery and enchantment found in the stillness of natural spaces.  She has exhibited in galleries in America, the United Kingdom and Europe, has been featured in several publications, and travels all over the country for fine art fairs.  When she isn't traveling for shows or working on a new piece, she instructs painting and block printing classes to help others find their love of art.
